Account Security Advice from ProBit Global

While ProBit Global works hard to ensure the security of users' digital assets while trading on the platform, it is the users’ responsibility to ensure the highest level of security for your own ProBit Global accounts.

Here is some general security advice to follow:

  1. Activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using OTP or a hardware security key.

  1. Save your 16 digit recovery code for 2FA well.

  1. Use a different password for your ProBit Global account from your email address.

  1. If you received authentication code emails from ProBit Global when you did not request one, change your password for both email and ProBit Global accounts and quickly submit a report for us to review.

  1. Do not allow API access with untrusted services.

  1. Avoid logging in to your ProBit Global account from a public computer.

  1. Never give your password to any ProBit Global staff. ProBit Global staff will NEVER ask for your password and private keys.

  1. Never send funds to any ProBit Global staff. ProBit Global staff will NEVER ask for funds.

  1. ProBit Global admins will never private message (PM) you first.

  1.  Lastly, only refer to our official pages or channels to get information on any event supported by ProBit Global. You may refer to this link to verify whether an individual or account is officially affiliated with ProBit Global: https://www.probit.com/official-verification.
