Each transaction will be charged a maker fee and a taker fee. The maker is defined as the trader who provides liquidity to the order book by placing a limit order below the best ask price for the buy and above the best bid price for the sell. The taker removes the liquidity from the order book by placing an order that matches an existing order in the order book.
The trading fee for each transaction will be paid in the quote currency of the transaction.
The trading fee follows the structure below.
Starting from March 22, 2019 (3PM KST), the trading fees will be changed as follows:
Previous trading fees
Maker: 0.05%, Taker 0.1%
New trading fees
Standard users: Maker 0.1%, Taker 0.1%
Market makers: Maker 0%, Taker 0%
There won’t be any changes to taker trading fees for standard users, the changes are only applicable to maker fees.
ProBit Exchange is currently running a promotional discount program exclusively for experienced market makers. [You can apply here]
*Note: Market makers are users designated by ProBit Exchange who supply market liquidity.
Payment with PROB
If paying the trading fee with PROB, the transaction is eligible for a discount of 10%-50% on the trading fee. The amount of discount is dependent on the PROB loyalty tier of the trader. More information on the tiers can be found here.
Changes to Fee Structure
